The Quintet Scene in Die Meistersinger

From artwork by Georges Rochegrosse

Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, WWV 96, is a music drama in three acts, written and
composed by Richard Wagner.
It is among the longest operas commonly performed, usually
taking around four and a half hours.

This is a beautifully rich antique 1895 music-history print from The Music of the Modern World Illustrated in the Lives and Works of the Greatest Modern Musicians
by Fanny Morris Smith and Anton Seidl
Published in 1895 by D. Appleton and Co., New York

At more than 125 years old, this large print is very nice.  Matted and framed it would be fantastic addition to any wall.

SIZE: Approx. 11" X 15"

Original "typogravure" half-tone plates over 125 years old — NOT modern reproduction!

Special note: The detail in this print is fantastic. The photo does not pay due to the print.
