Motogadget Motoscope Small Black Speedometer with indicator lights

Details
The motoscope tiny is a very small analog speedometer in 49mm format. It measures speed digitally and displays it precisely using a stepper motor and pointer. The installation diameter of 49 mm and the installation depth of only 24 mm open up a wide range of installation options. Refined technology makes the classic look possible without compromise. The dial has no cutouts on the display or LCD and looks convincing in the classic style. The perfect solution for purists and minimalists.

casing
The high-quality aluminum housing is machined from solid material and its surface is black anodized. The screw ring is also available black anodized or mirror polished.

The case is 100% waterproof and insensitive to vibrations.

Screen
The contrasting black and white analogue dial is indirectly illuminated by white LEDs. Hidden behind the black part of the dial is an innovative LED display, which lights up across the dial only when in operation and is not visible when turned off.

To achieve optimal readability in the dark, in the sun and at dusk, the brightness of the LEDs is automatically adjusted.

If you exceed 200 km/h on the analog scale, the speed is automatically displayed on the LED display. The maximum speed is also saved.

The 4 control lights (blue, red, 2 x green) are also integrated into the dial. These also only become visible during operation.

service
With the supplied menu button or, for example, the flasher button on the handlebars, you can switch between the indications on the LED display.

The standard indication on the display is the time. If necessary, by briefly pressing the button the values for total kilometres, daily kilometres, on-board voltage, etc. are displayed.

All functions, such as resetting the daily kilometers or similar, are easily operated via the button. Presets or saved values are obviously saved even in the absence of power.

Cultivation
The motoscope tiny is easy to mount using the two M3 threaded sockets on the back. We offer various mounting brackets. See assembly below.

Connection and sensors
The detailed assembly and operating instructions (see Downloads below) make connecting the instrument possible for users who have so far remained away from the vehicle's electrical system.

The included stainless steel speedometer sensor is very small (M5/23mm) and easy to hide. With the 1.5m long connection cable, it can be easily attached to the front or rear wheel. This means that even vehicles with an original mechanical speedometer drive can be easily converted.

The motoscope tiny is compatible with many original speed sensors (reed contacts and proximity sensors) from the vehicle manufacturer. In this case only the connections are made and the mechanical installation of a sensor is completely superfluous.

An intelligent "learning function" allows you to easily calibrate the speedometer, even on vehicles with sensors on the transmission such as Harley-Davidson (TM).
