Colloidal is a term describing a substance containing particles so small they remain suspended in liquid or gas. In this case, silver is suspended in pure steam-distilled water.
Colloidal particles, unlike dissolved particles in a suspension, stay in solution and retain their whole form and qualities. Silver atoms are small enough that when swallowed pass through mucous membranes in the intestinal lining.
These tiny particles vary in size, depending on the manufacturing process utilized. The larger the particles, the more difficult for them to be absorbed by the body. The color of colloidal silver is also affected by the size of the particles. In most instances, it can range from clear (very small particles) to very dark brown or even black (large particles).
HOW COLLOIDAL SILVER WORKS
Colloidal silver works as a catalyst. A catalyst is best described as a substance that brings about (causes) a reaction or occurrence, without itself participating or being consumed.
Colloidal silver acts to absorb oxygen and trigger oxidation in the body. This removes negatively charged ions, deactivating these ions without any change in the cellular structure.
COLLOIDAL SILVER SUGESSTED USE
Suggested Use: When you first start using colloidal silver, take about 1/2 oz. and hold it in your mouth as long as possible before swallowing it. Do this twice per day, once before bedtime.
After the first week, reduce the frequency to just once per day, preferably at bedtime.
