3D printed zero clearance insert for Evolution table saws rage 5S and R255PTS. Will also fit most Excel table saws(check measurements)

Can be dispatched in two parts to glue them yourself (With superglue included), or printed as a solid single piece (New model, decided to purchase a large bed 3d printer to be able to print it in 1 piece).

I have been using it on my saw for months and is still good as new. It's a lot stronger than the crappy original one, and with a larger finger hole. all it needs is to replace the lock from the original one, or can also be used without the lock

For ease of setting up, there is a slightly wider gap for the riving knife, it won't affect the cut quality because that's after the blade cuts the stock. (Don't work without a riving knife, kickbacks are nasty!!!)

Locking mechanism not included, the original one from the table saw can be used.

How to cut the zero clearance insert:

1 Lower the blade to the bottom

2 Slot the two "prongs" on the front while lifting the back so it doesn't touch the blade.

3 Start the saw while the insert is not in contact with the blade.

4 Lower the back of the plate slowly until it's flat. The blade should have cut only a little recess.

5 lock the insert (by turning the locking screw) and/or put the fence on top of the insert and slightly to the right of the blade(so the blade doesn't cut it).

6 then raise the blade to the desired length.

I, because never use it to cut anything deeper than 18mm plywood, only have the insert cut to slightly above that height. but it can be cut to the full height if desired

As with every procedure using dangerous power tools suck as a table saw, please exercise caution and wearing eye protection is strongly advised.
