Very rare Homer Lock-Blocks building set, Junior Fleet Boat Set No. 1 wooden building set from the first half of the 1900s.

Box measures about 19"x9"x2" for general size reference.

Set includes all components shown - looks to be mostly complete but missing a few pieces.   Box is worn and top half has tears at sides as shown.

Some oxidation to the steel keys from age.  Some light signs of wear and a few breakage points to block pieces but overall pretty good shape for their age.  Instructions I would describe as being in poor to fair condition with some evidence of insects getting at it at some point in its long life.

The last picture is of the patent information for this technology in this set (not included, it is just pulled from a historical document) - it was one of the few references I could find for this company's existence and am including it as a date reference (as there is no date on the box) - the patent for this type of toy is from 1936 so this likely came after the late 1930s.

*PLEASE NOTE: This is an antique toy with old parts and does not actually look safe for children; buyer assumes all responsibility for safely handling parts and for closely supervising any young people using these.

I have another set from the same series, Junior Fleet Set No. 3 if you are interested in a combined purchase.
