Vintage Phenix Straight Razor, Made In Germany. The blade measures 11/16, has NOT been honed and stropped to shave ready. No sanding or grinding was done to the blade. The razor was unpinned for cleaning only. The blade has been thoroughly cleaned and polished to help repel moisture. Reassembled using new brass pins and collars.

   All vintage blades from my collection may include blemishes such as minor scratches, freckles or pitting on blade surface, various amounts of wear, but nothing that will affect the blades ability to be honed and stropped to shave ready (unless I've noted specific defects above). All blades sold from my collection in non-restored, non-honed condition will require honing services to make shave ready, some blades requiring no more than a light honing session and others requiring minor edge correction, bevel setting and full honing session.
