Genuine original Danish writing desk bureau plat in the Ole Wanscher style in mahogany with 5 drawers with ornate gilt bronze handles
Denmark circa 1955.
Highly sought after proportions of this desk is ideal for home office. The centre drawer with original brass key and working lock. This is flanked by two pairs of deep drawers with brass handles . The drawer interiors in blonde birch with mahogany fronts. Original elegant bonze swing handles to all drawers.
Nice and sturdy this desk is polished all round so can stand in the middle of a room.
Original Danish mid century classic design with superb use of timbers.
The polished top with only minor marks to be expected from this genuine vintage desk.
