Boyds Bears Matthew 20th Anniversary Special Limited Edition Bear Fr 1999. Condition is new, never played with or displayed, comes from my private collection with original tag, a smoke free home. He measures approximately 10” tall and 8” seated. He will make a great gift or a special addition to your collection.

The year 1999 marked the 20th Anniversary of the Boyds Collection Ltd. To help celebrate they recreated the “Matthew Bear”... the Very First Teddy Bear ever made by The Head Bean Himself, Named for G.M. Lowenthal’s best ever creation (back in 1984) his very own son, Matthew.

The Anniversary Edition of Matthew Bear is made of imported Australian Wool, with soft velvet paw pads, hand-sewn nose and a custom-woven ribbon to match the original Matthew’s. He has a special Anniversary Edition paw label.
