MINT Condition and hasn't see the light of day for almost 20 years.  I had a beat 289 Cobra that I was restoring so I bought this GMP Cobra back in 2003 directly from GMP.  After I received it I opened it partially to inspect it then put it away in a closet, and pretty much forgot that I had it - Life was over taken by many other events. The model is 100% complete, and never fully removed from the box until today to take the pictures.  I am absolutely amazed by the level of detail and scaling.  I am not a collector by any means - this is the only diecast that I own, and if you are reading this description you definitely more about this GMP diecast model then I do. The model is absolutely 100% complete;

     In the flash pictures it looks like the paint finish is spotty, but it is absolute flawless and no blemishes.
   Please Note: The knockoffs are 2 different designs, 2 of each, intented for the front and rear.  I talked with the Factory which is now Acme Trading in GA and they told me that is how the car was made; 2 different designs on the knock offs - many of the Cobra's were made that way - so 2 different style knock offs was standard. The 2 washers are extra pieces that should not have been in the kit according to GMP - just extra from the manual assembly and packaging operations.  The left lower cockpit / brake cooling air scoop is detached from the body - not broken, perhaps the glue dried out or an inadequate amount at assembly.  The air scoop is a 10 second fix in the hands of the right person - I didn't want to attempt to do it and botch it nor conceal anything.  In picture # 2 you can see it not in the proper place - but not missing, and I didn't even notice it was out of place until I returned the model to the box.  The scoop itself can be seen in the picture w/ the tires and knock-offs-the scoop is in the tray with the knock-off. The car is laid into a sheet of foam over the foam blocks, and it looks like the sheet goods where too tight when the car was placed in the blocks and it put pressure on the scoop. The scoop don't connect to anything, it is just glued to the body, so the repair is pretty straight forward and doesn't affect value or provenance. The cotton gloves are very, very slightly discolored from age.
