5th in Bow Street Rivals series

London 1817 At the Covent Garden Theatre the crowd wants to see actress Hannah Granville including the Prince Regent but before she emerges a gunshot rings out and a man lies dead. It is Sir Roger Mellanby whose leanings to social reform had made him enemies at Westminster and within his family. Mellanby's friend Seth Hooper is dismissed by the Bow Street Runners so he turns to the Skillen brothers to investigate the killing. The assassin's own problems are just beginning.
