The stakes have never been higher in Multiplayer with epic battles to be fought on the all-new map, Lair; and the Call of Duty: Black Ops flashback, Launch.

In Lair, players visit an uncharted island where an evil organization has built the ultimate weapon: a death laser that harnesses the power of the island’s volcano. Find the elevator on this small, chaotic map and ride it to a singular power position to activate the lethal death laser. Both heroes and villains alike will battle for domination on Lair.

Experience the original Black Ops conflict of good versus evil in Launch, where US covert operatives have invaded Russian territory to stop a Soviet nuclear missile. Enjoy a new twist on this Black Ops flashback as Specialists fight to secure objectives before the rocket takes off decimating any players within its blast radius.

In Blackout, life has returned to the landscape, and the map has been given a comic book aesthetic for its newest mode “Heavy Metal Heroes.” This vehicle-intensive mode features armored ARAVs, ATVs, motorcycles, and tanks. Players will feel like superheroes as they drop in with full armor, weapons and the ability to thrust jump above the enemies. With the introduction of tanks, vehicle ramps for daring jumps, and rocket launchers built for armored combat, players will need all their super abilities to survive to the final collapse.

Zombies returns with the final chapter of the Aether storyline in “Tag der Toten.” Fight with new Wonder Weapons, discover long-hidden secrets, and survive waves of the zombie horde including electric zombies and hellhounds in this hair-raising culmination. With an all new perk, returning elixirs, and a final Easter Egg, “Tag der Toten” will keep players fighting until the very end.
