These vintage Time magazines are a wonderful resource of news and contemporary thought - giving insight to the news, politics and current affairs of the world. There are articles on Medicine, Religion, Art, Science, Law, Music, Education, Cinema, Theatre, Show Business and all sorts of other subjects. Famously the Time’s cover pictures are fantastic ‘works of art’ and the adverts are great! Additionally as these issues are the Atlantic Overseas Editions, there is a good focus on British and European news, plus coverage of India, Middle East and Africa.
In this issue:
- Cover: Italy’s Premier De Gasperi - Ernest Hamlin Baker
- Who’s Who in the GOP - Robert Alphonso Taft
- How To Hang On - Communism and the West - Alcide de Gasperi
- Colombia - Jorge Eliécer Gaitán
- Art: Lawrence Kupferman; Vincent Van Gogh
- Sport: Rocky Graziano; Claude Harmon
- Music: Serge Koussevitzky; Ervin Laszlo

Condition: The magazine is in good vintage condition, showing light reading wear and some minor creasing to the covers, a small tear to the edge of the front cover, plus the paper is tanned with age. Given that the magazine is over 70 years old, its condition is good, but certainly not perfect! The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive.
I accept returns, and if you’d like any further information, just ask!
