Holland vintage pewter water / wine jug with lid and handle.

This is the most unusual pewter jug I have come across, and initially wondered what the item was. Two hands are needed to pour the jug, one on the handle, and the other on the top handle. Has a makers mark on the bottom BDH, from the Holland company( Firma Gebroeders Frans Borgsteyn Driebergen/Zeist/Leerdam Holland) that started working 1948 and ended 1978. 1960 they changed the name in to Tingieterij Borgsteyn. According to the makers mark comes from a period between 1948 to 1960.

In good vintage condition with a few marks of age and use.
