You will noticeably improve your braking performance with this kit. This kit is ideal for all types of custom show and high performance street/strip vehicles, and it complements wheel, tire, and suspension upgrades. Rotors have a cross drill and slot pattern to improve outgassing and cooling capacity. Caliper eye-catching finishes allow you to customize the look of your vehicle. Benefits: Gas and water are dissipated through slots. Slots aid in increasing pad bite and improving air circulation. Drilled Holes and Slots provide a path for debris, dust, gases, and water to escape. Slots To achieve the best pad coefficient of friction, clean and de-glaze the pad surface. Drilled rotors enhance the appearance of your wheels while also reducing rotor weight. When compared to 1-piece rotors, 2-piece rotors offer significant weight savings and rapid heat dissipation. Vented rotors dissipate heat much more quickly. Multi-piston calipers apply clamping force to both sides of the rotor at the same time, transferring braking force uniformly to the brake pads. Multi-piston calipers provide more even braking, resulting in less pad distortion. The greater the number of pistons in a caliper, the greater the clamping force. These calipers ensure an even wear pattern along the entire length of the brake pad due to the evenly distributed pressure. These calipers typically have smaller piston diameters than single-piston calipers. Wilwood's vented rotors' internal vane design provides excellent heat dissipation during braking cycles.
