Mr. Gasket® ThermocapTM Silver Engine Coolant Radiator Cap (F0E17E). The pressure is 16 psi. Aluminum is the material. The finish is silver. Knowing the temperature of your coolant can help you avoid burn injuries. The coolant temperature is indicated by Thermo Cap's built-in calibrated thermometer. This is useful information to have before removing the cap.
When the coolant temperature is extremely high, never attempt to remove the Thermo Cap. The hot coolant and steam that escapes may burn you. Examine the Thermo Cap temperature indicator to see if the coolant is cool enough to safely remove the Thermo Cap. If the coolant is extremely hot, thoroughly rinse the radiator with cool water until the coolant temperature falls into a safer safe zone.
