Electric Fence Strip Grazing 12v Kit with Balfour 800 - Green 3FT Posts & 20mm Tape
Ideal for strip grazing, this kit comes with 20 x 3' poly posts, a 200m roll of 20mm wide fence tape, all powered by a Balfour Duo 800 12v energiser.
The German made energiser is "Dual Powered" meaning it can be powered by either a 12v leisure battery or 240v mains. It comes with the Mains Adapter plug and also a set of crocodile leads to take power from a 12v battery. The fencer comes with a small earth spike (which can also be used to mount the energiser on in the field) and comes with all necessary fence and earth connection leads and the leads to connect to a 12v battery. Please note a 12v BATTERY is NOT included.
It has 0.5 Output Joules and can power up to 4Km of fenceline. The output voltage is 8,400 which will drop to around 1460 with 500 Ohms resistance. This 'entry level' unit is very simple & straightforward to use and will power up to 4km of fencing. NB if run from the mains the unit should be plugged into an internal socket which must be housed inside and double insulated cable used to run out to both the fence and earthstake (not incl).
The kit includes 20 x 3FT posts - made from sturdy and durable UV resistant plastic, they have a strong steel ground-spike and a strong footplate so they're easily pushed into the ground. Their total length is 105cm and they will hold the top line of the fence approx. 3' high when in the ground.
The 200m of fence tape is a roll of our Premier 20mm tape - a good quality poly-tape with reinforced edging and 4 x stainless steel conductors.
Also included in the kit is an 8 Level fence tester, a warning sign, a gate handle & a couple of gate handle insulators. We also include some ring insulators to start & end the fence with. Handy if there are wooden fenceposts or trees around the perimeter of the field as these will give you good anchor points
