Vintage Hunting Knife with Carbon Steel Blade, Composite Handle, & Sheath Made by Schrade Cutlery Company

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded by George Schrade in 1904 in Walden, New York.  It was known to produce high quality cutlery.  In 1947, Schrade was bought by the Ulster Knife Company of Ellenville, New York, and the factory, known as Schrade-Walden, moved to Ellenville. It stayed in business from 1904 to 2004.

This knife has the blade forged from the fine carbon steel.  The handle is double riveted over the full tang to good fitting for durability, strength, & balance.

Maintenance Suggestion:  Hand wash only in warm water after using, especially if used on foods that have acidic sauce/liquid.  After washing it, wipe the blade and handle completely dry.  Use of electric knife sharpener or dishwasher not recommended.
