Argentovivo "Pottle", Style W803C.01: an elegant and flattering, rose patterned silk chiffon camisole with adjustable spaghetti straps edged around the inside V of the V-necked top and around the bottom with ivory floral lace. The silk chiffon is in ivory with large pink open roses with green leaves and stems, there are also rose buds in the pattern.
The front has two triangles of the rose patterned chiffon covering the breasts, gathered around the bottom to help shape and support. The ivory floral lace that edges the inside edge of the V neckline finishes with soft waves with a twisted eyelash finish against the skin, this lace is applique'd over the chiffon with shapes which show off the flowers and leaves in the lace, an so there are no hard lines. Under this section there is a double narrow band of the patterned silk chiffon finishing under the side seams, this floats over the main front panel down to its wide band of the ivory lace which falls with V shapes at the centre front, back and at the sides. The top of the lace is applique'd over the chiffon with soft curves.
The back has a straight top at the back with a large keyhole at the centre topped with a small button and a loop made of a narrow band of the double silk chiffon, this enables the wearer to put the camisole on and then do it up so that the front has some tension under the bust to offer support. Apart from the keyhole the back has a single panel of the rose patterned chiffon, from the side seams down to the wide band of ivory lace which continues around from the bottom of the front.
The top of the back, the keyhole and the arm holes are edged with a narrow double band of ivory rose patterned chiffon. From the under arm section the narrow band of rose chiffon continues upwards to form spaghetti straps. At the back there is an upward loop, sewn inside the top of the back, topped with a small gold ring through which the back of the straps are looped. The back straps adjust upwards with a fine gold slider.
The fabric of the POTTLE camisole is 100%Silk. Argentovivo states that this should be hand washed in cool water; cool iron if necessary, no bleach or tumble drying. Keep away from fire. New and unused. Made in Italy. The retail price was £90.00.
