Okinawa Sanshin is a traditional shamisen used in Okinawa.  

It is smaller and lighter than a Japanese shamisen, so it is convenient to carry.

Basically, Sanshin has a snake skin, but this has artificial skin with a snake pattern.

It looks and sounds like a real snake skin Sanshin.

This is a reasonably priced set with a bachi, replacement strings and a textbook (Japanese version).
