Kokyu is played with a bow and is a Japanese equivalent of Western violin.

The uniqueness of "Mori no Kokyu" comes from the use of cedar for the body.

Traditional animal skin has been replaced with thinly cut cedar boards for resonant box.

This original product is friendly to both animals and the environment.

Crafted with the native wood from Japan’s forest, Mori no Kokyu plays the sound of Japanese forests.
