Very Rare Pixyland Kew 1921 Lead Figures from the Nursery Rhyme Series

Given as 'Very Rare' in Joplins Hollow Cast Figures book is this pre-war hand painted collectable figure of Old Mother Hubbard with Begging Dog.

This rare figure was indeed one of Pixylands first products dating to 1921 and comes from their Nursery Rhyme Series.

This pre-war set comprises a standing spectacled figure of Old Mother Hubbard in brown dress with a blue apron, red shawl with white head scarf. Seated before her is a white dog with orange collar. ( 2 pieces in total ).

The early lead model measures the standard 2.4"/60mm. at 1:32 scale.

( figure = 60mm. / dog = 30mm )

There is some minor paint loss to the old lady figure, more noticeably to the dog, otherwise the models come in generally excellent condition overall.

Overall a superb example of this pre-war Pixyland nursery rhyme figure group.
