SHAEFFER ASIA SERIES – BAMBOO PEWTER (ROYAL SELANGOR) FOUNTAIN PEN MEDIUM 18K GOLD NIB

Product Name: Shaeffer Asia Series -- "Bamboo"

Manufacturer and Year: Sheaffer (USA) and Royal Selangor Pewter (Malaysia) - 1996 (Whilst Shaeffer planned to produce a whole series of "Asia" pens, but for whatever reason, this was the only model released.)

Length:   5-3/4"

Filling System:  Sheaffer cartridges or Sheaffer vintage pump converter.

Color:  Beautiful pewter body and cap with a lovely etched image of bamboo branches and leaves. The clip and cap band and end cap are shiny, most likely stainless steel or chrome.

Nib:  Sheaffer 18ct 750 (Made in the USA) two tone open nib is MEDIUM. Smooth and lovely to write with.

Condition: Used but in pristine condition. Never left my home all these decades.

Packaging:  In wooden box with outer cardboard box.

Carefully used to test writing fluidity and carefully stored when not in use.

Do note that there are light surface scratches on the pen body and cap but this do not detract from the overall functional condition of the fountain pen.
