This is a rare April 10th, 1967 program (playbill) with a clipped newspaper review from the one-week, National Players Company engagement of the PETER WEISS play "THE PERSECUTION AND ASSASSINATION OF MARAT AS PERFORMED BY THE INMATES OF THE ASYLUM OF CHARENTON UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE MARQUIS DE SADE" at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut. (The Original Broadway production opened December 27th, 1965 at the Martin Beck Theatre in New York City and closed April 30th, 1966 after 145 performances.) ..... The play starred ROBERT FIELDS as "Jean-Paul Marat" and WILLIAM ROERICK as the "Marquis de Sade" and the cast included MARIE ANTOINETTE, IGORS GAVON, JACK GROVERLAND, EDWARD HOLMES, MARY NETTUM, JOHN TORMEY, CHARLES ABBOTT, DOUGLAS FISHER, LARRY WHITELEY and GERI WOLCOTT .....
