Lion of Judah: The Lion of judah was the symbol of the israelite tribe of judah in the Book of Genesis of the Old Testament. The Lion of judah also represents jesus , the phrase appears in the New Testament Book of Revelation 5:5; " And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of judah , the Root of David, hath prevailed to opan the book , and to loose the seven seals thereof."
