  Those who have used the Elgato eyetv know what an elegant method this is to display live TV on a computer, and use a window on your computer as a TV, DVR and an screen capture device for grabbing a frame from video.  Although the old infrared based channel changer was an innovative but slightly goofy method, that is no longer needed these days, since you can use the remote control for your set top box to change channels.  So the Elgato remote is still useful for volume control, mute and window maximizations.

Listed here are two units, both used. One is slightly scratched up, the other is much cleaner. Both are fully operational. One of them comes with its original box, cables, etc., although I cannot guarantee it comes with all of its original contents. But the most important things are all there. You have two of the boxes + 3 remote controls, so you don't need to worry about something breaking down for a very long time.
