The Pink Panther buys a run-down house at a bargain price & moves in the same day. He hears noises but is not afraid. He takes a book of Haunted Tales to bed with him and reads it aloud frightening the ghost who lives in the house. Pink Panther tells the ghost to move out, but eventually they find a different solution.
