The Aeronautics magazine was a British magazine covering different aspects of aviation both military and commercial. It has informative text and is richly illustrated with b&w illustrations. It was a serious publication, offering in-depth, technical and knowledgeable articles written by experts. The advertisements are also very interesting. These War Time issues, of course, concentrate on the ongoing situation and give a fascinating insight into those times.
At the back of each magazine is a section entitled: The Air War, which gives a day-by-day break down of Air Military Activity around the whole war front.
In this volume:
- Plotting Fighter Progress by F. H. M. Lloyd - Maximum Speed and Climb Performance
- The Vital Balance of Air Power
- Air Carriage - Military Transport
- German Defence Positions
- Growing Pains of the Fleet Air Arm
- New Factors on Foreign Fighters
- Marrying the Engine to the Airframe
- Airports and Air Planning by F. G. Miles

Condition: Very good, some evidence of reading wear, staples have rusted and there is some damage to the spine covering, one page has some damage. Considering the magazine is around 75 years old, its condition is good but not perfect! The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive.
