• The shellac flakes are a medium amber colour.
• Dissolves in methylated spirits or ethyl alcohol and is the main constituent of french polish giving a beautiful golden polish to prepared wood. 
• Instructions for preparation are included

The quantity included will make a substantial amount of polish and is a very cost effective and easy way of making a French polish.   We also supply Gum Sandarac which can be a component of french polish formulae.
