The book not only gives the benefit that you get the prerequisites to buy things that are beautiful and of real quality, and which are therefore better to use, last longer and are more economical to use.
It also shows that looking for the good and often cheap things can become a sport, and that it is not the price that is decisive for the usability and beauty value of things.
Through rich and beautiful images, the reader is led through the everyday world of beauty, as it could shape itself for the one who has wanted to see, and the way is paved for a more beautiful and richer everyday life.
The author, an architect, is one of the pioneers in modern Danish industrial design and artistic advisor to several of our large industrial companies

Herlöw (1913 – 1991) architect and designer, educated at The Danish academy of arts in 1941. Herløw co-founded the Society for Industrial Design in 1954 and in 1955 was named the first professor of industrial design at the Academy of Fine Arts
