Erik Ellegaard Frederiksen (1924 - 1997) was a Danish graphic designer, designer and architect. Teacher at the Graphic Arts College (1951-1979) and pupil and successor Carl H. K. Zakrisson, was one of the most significant persons in danish typography in the second half of the 20th century. His art includes book design, posters, logos, labelling, corporate identity, sculpture as well as textiles for liturgical services.

Having worked as an assistant to Tschichold at Penguin Books in London 1948–50 an Frederiksen became a prominent book designer in Denmark with C. Volmer Nordlund
