Presenting this absolutely beautiful Vintage "A WOLF ORIGINAL" Sculpture by Edmund Wolf, Canada.
This carving is of two Inuits, one is standing and the other kneeling. They are holding a seal, which is nestled between them and poking its head out from between their arms. The carving is beautifully detailed and displays a superb sense of movement.
Edmund Wolf is famous for his carvings that have been inspired by everyday Inuit Life. His sculptures are intricately carved out of a composite of stone and marble and are superb!!!
This piece was crafted in Canada in the late 1970's. Edmund Wolf has signed this piece with an inscribed "E" which is located on the body of the seal and immediately under the kneeling Inuits right arm. This superb piece also retains its original gold foil label to the base.
This superb "A WOLF ORIGINAL" sculpture measures 11cm in length, 6cm in width and stands 11.5cm in height. It weighs 371 grams.
Presented in excellent vintage condition and displays superbly!!!
