Here is a good condition copy of "AMERICAN HERITAGE, The Magazine of History", for FEBRUARY, 1973, Volume XXIV , Number 2.

This magazine was started in the early 1950s, and was very well written, and lavishly illustrated. Before about 1980, it was issued every 2 months, each issue was hardcovered, and there was no advertising. There was about 112 pages in each issue, and the major articles each was from about 4 to 10 pages long. This was a pretty expensive magazine, sold by subscription only, and most issues that you see today are in libraries. I have been building a set for my own use, and am selling off my duplicates on ebay to make some room! It is still in business, but now is softcovered, and the articles , though dealing with history, are more "contemporary". These older issues are getting hard to find nowadays.

This issue has a Cover picture of War News from Mexico.

  It has articles on

This magazine measures about 8 1/2 by 11 inches, and has 112 pages. It is in good condition, with clean pages, tight binding, and a cover that has slight wear. Inside, this magazine looks like it was hardly read at all.
