Description:

Labradorite is a precious gemstone with a Feldspar substance and is also called Spectrolite. Labradorite derived its name from the Labrador Peninsula, which is an original source of Canadian variety of feldspar stone. It is a hard crystalline mineral that is reputed for its capability to display a wide variety of colors when light strikes it. It produces reflections of blue, green, yellow, violet, red and orange. The effect is known as “labradorescence”.
