The History of Rock magazine came out in 1982. It was a weekly part-work magazine published by Orbis which looked into the 'history' of rock, examining various artists, recording studios and background to the music. With good, detailed information backed up excellent photographs, these magazines are great fun!

In this issue:
  • Without a Voice - Why rock instrumentals became so important
  • The Shadows - Clean playing and a string of hits
  • Sounds Worldwide - Instrumental groups come into their own
  • Have Guitar… The twangy sounds of Duane Eddy
  • Stormy Weather - How Johnny and the Hurricanes blew out of Ohio
  • Purley Percussive - The irrestitble rise of rock drumming
  • Great Musicians - Billy Cobham

The magazine has around 20 pages.

Condition: The magazine is in very good condition but has been read and has some minor creasing and light reading wear. The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive.

I accept returns. Finally if you'd like to see further pictures or any questions, just ask!
