The History of Rock magazine came out in 1982. It was a weekly part-work magazine published by Orbis which looked into the 'history' of rock, examining various artists, recording studios and background to the music. With good, detailed information backed up excellent photographs, these magazines are great fun!

In this issue:
  • Times A-Changin’ - how folk brought new perspective to the music of the late Sixties
  • Perfect Partners - Simon and Garfunkel: bridging folk and rock
  • Rock ’68 - Diary of the Year
  • Donovan - From Dylan imitation to pure psychedelia
  • Folk or Forgery? Denmark Street wrote the rules for UK folk
  • Great Musicians - Elton John

The magazine has around 20 pages.

Condition: The magazine is in very good condition but has been read and has some minor creasing and light reading wear. The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive.

I accept returns. Finally if you'd like to see further pictures or any questions, just ask!
