Fairmilehead Parish Church, opened in April 1938, is situated on Frogston Road West at Fairmilehead crossroads. Fairmilehead Parish Church was one of the first built under the new Church Extension Scheme of the Church of Scotland. The foundation stone, can be seen behind the lectern. The inscription reads 'Stone laid by the Rev. Dr. J R Aitken, D.D. Presbytery Clerk. 24th February 1937.' The Church was consecrated on the 12th April 1938 by the Very Rev. J White and Rev. Ian R Gillan, the first minister.
