Description: Mounted Photograph. An albumen photographic souvenir ticket from the Eiffel Tower in 1891, and apparently, dispensened from a vending machine on the 3rd Level, according to printed text on verso. Some fading to image else a fine example. Photo measures 1.5 x 2.25 inches wide, card appears to be wooden, or perhaps a wooden composite, and measures 1-9/16 x 2-3/8 inches wide. Near Fine.

This tiny little French beauty gives an interesting 19th century view towards the Parc du Champ de Mars from high up in the Eiffel Tower. It is dated verso "24 Avril 1891" with a signature in black ink.
