CHILDS TEA SET 23 PC TREE IN THE MEADOW WINDMILL HAND PAINTED JAPAN CHILDREN

Listing is for a truly rare vintage 23 piece hand painted child's tea set made in Japan!!! This set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear to pattern. Found in the original Christmas Box!!

These are from the post 1930 period where the mark Nippon was often replaced by the Japan designation, but this lovely set with the Windmill & water motif is definitely reminiscent of the Morimura Nippon scenic pieces. The owner stated these have been in the family since the latter 1920s, as she played with them as a girl before the Second World War. 
Set is marked made in Japan!!!

 2 piece Teapot with cover 4" tall with cover

2 pc Covered Sugar bowl 4" in diameter x 3 3/4" tall

1 Creamer pitcher 2 1/2" tall

6 Dinner plates 5" in diameter

6 Tea cups 2 3/4" in diameter

6 Saucers 3 3/4" in diameter

Original Box!! Box does show some wear after 90 + years!! I find this amazing to find in the box
