As stated,this very heavy duty welders clamp has previously been used,but is in generally good order.
Had been in dry storage for many years,and may well date back to the late 1970's.
We used to use one similar to this back in my fitting / fabricating days ~ Handy for holding thick plate / angle / H iron in securely in place whilst welding.
No makers name that i can see,but most definitely British made (nice & solid).
It appears to have seen only light use over the course of time ~ Not all bashed & knocked about.
Cranking bar nice & straight,with good / clean thread ~ Serrated clamping face still good.
Maximum clamping capacity just over 3".
Appears to have been unpainted from new.
Suitable for general heavy duty industrial clamping use.
All-in-all,NOT 100% perfect / brand new,but in generally good order / clean & tidy;ready for work.
Good old fashioned British steel,built to last the course & distance,with plenty of life left in it yet.
