The LAMY Al-Star is a low-priced Fountain Pen which is very popular with both: students and collectors. The quality of it is perfect as always from Lamy. 

It has the same size as the LAMY Safari but feels more valuable because it's made out of Aluminium. 

This pen comes with a LAMY ink cartridge but it also fits a LAMY Z28 converter.
