1849 Braided Hair Large Cent OBVERSE LAMINATION ERROR N-20 ANACS F15 details, damaged, cleaned
This is a really nice example of a lamination error. It’s struck over a peeled off lamination. You can clearly see where a star was struck in the whole left by the peeled off piece. We have no idea what ANACS meant by “damaged” as all the damage on the obverse is due to the lamination. You be the judge.
