Variously called Karla, Karli or Karle Caves or KARLA CELLS they are an ancient Indian Buddhist rock cut caves at Karli, near Lonavaley, Maharashta, near Poona/Poone, 

Fort Purandhar is not far from Poona & that had a British internment camp during WWII so this may be a postcard collected by a British soldier.
