Description: |
A diffused undershrub or woody herb, up to 1 m
high, often flattened by trampling; stems sparingly prickly and with long
bristles from bulbous base. Leaves sensitive; petiole 2-5 cm long, bristly;
stipules up to 8 mm long, linear; pinnae 1-4 pairs, 5-8 cm long; leaflets
12-20 pairs, sessile, 8-15 x 2-4 mm. Flowers 4-merous, pink. Pods arranged in
a star, 10-20 x 3-4 mm, consisting of 3-5 one seeded joints. Seeds 2 x 1.5
