Vintage retro Awia CS-770E Boombox Ghetto Blaster.

Iconic and rare unit!

In decent cosmetic condition with some normal signs of use and wear. Has minor marks on the body. Many scratches and scuffs on the top.

Both FM and AM work and sound great. Line-in, Line-out, and phono work good. However, the tape deck has no response when pressing play, fast forward, rewind. It doesn't sound like the motor is working. Has original power cord. Battery compartment is clean, no corrosion and batteries work in it like normal.

There is no antenna and there are 2 switch knobs missing.

The power button has to be held down, either by a piece of tape or by hand.

This unit is over 40 years old and while parts of it work, other parts do not. I am sure with some research you could find pieces for it such as the antenna, new motor, new belts, etc. Motors and belts go out in tape players after awhile of use. I do not know how to fix these and am not going to attempt to do it but there are people out there who know how and could do this for you if you choose to get this into optimal working order. This is a very rare and hard to find boombox. Here is your chance to be the new proud owner and show it off!
