This ring is made with the famous Zuni style; Inlay

Inlay is the process of hand-cutting each stone to fit in a flush surface. As you can see, the stones are also slightly raised to give it a textured feeling.

The stones in this beautiful ring consist of sleeping Beauty Turquoise, ox blood Coral, Black onyx, and mother of pearl.

Sleeping Beauty turquoise is noted for its solid, light blue color with no matrix. The host rock is granite. Sleeping Beauty turquoise is the favorite of Zuni Pueblo lapidaries and silversmiths for the purity in color. This mine was one of the largest in North America.
