In about 1995, Red Box Toy Factory Ltd. became the owner of Zylmex. Later, Red Box introduced a new name for diecast. Motor Max became the brand name and utilized some of the old Zylmex castings in addition to adding many new models.

In the late 1990s Motor Max won praise from collectors for the quality of their castings and level of detail, which many put on a par with or even better than matchbox.

This BMW Z3 is finished in powder blue, but closer inspection shows quite a lot of green showing through. Could be a re-paint, but the blue is a known production colour for this model.

Loose, unboxed and with some scratches to paintwork and general wear from play, but overall nice condition. See photos - all photos show actual item.
