Fondata nel 1904 nella provincia di Canterbury da tre espatriati inglesi, Canterbury iniziò a realizzare capi di lana resistenti per il difficile clima della Nuova Zelanda. Ed erano così bravi che gli fu chiesto di realizzare uniformi durante la prima guerra mondiale per gli eserciti australiano e neozelandese. Successivamente, Canterbury ha disegnato una divisa da campo per la squadra di rugby degli All Blacks e il resto, come si suol dire, è storia.

- SUBJECT Very rare t-shirt size XL, London Wasps, British rugby team.  Excellent general conditions.  For true collectors.

Founded in 1904 in the Canterbury province by three British expats, Canterbury began making woolen garments resistant to New Zealand's harsh climate.  And they were so good that they were asked to make uniforms during World War I for the Australian and New Zealand armies.  Subsequently, Canterbury designed a field kit for the All Blacks rugby team and the rest, as they say, is history.
