Exceptional dragon alebrije wood carving by the Sosa family which creates some of the most jaw-dropping works of art in Oaxaca. This piece was delicately carved out of copal wood which was sourced in the fields surrounding the town of San Martin Tilcajete. The many small and complex details that went into this piece make it one of our premier collection pieces. An excellent work of Mexican folk art!
