This is a very decorative and highly collectible Art Deco porcelain vase with silver overlay by HUTSCHENREUTHER which shows a beautiful decor and design; the vase is marked on the bottom HUTSCHREUTHER Selb Bavaria Germany;  vase in a very good condition; a beautiful Art Deco piece as fine addition for your collection!

Bauscher & Weiden, porcelain manufacture founded 1881 by August Bauscher (1841-1917), who was also a companion of the porcelain manufacture Tirschenreuth until 1880. In 1882 his younger brother Conrad Bauscher (1853- ) and Heinrich Ott joined the company. The porcelain manufacture leaded a branch company and office in the United States of America, Bauscher Bros. in New York and also in Luzern Switzerland. In 1910 the company had more than 850 employers. In 1911 the manufacture was converted into incorporation and in 1927 the manufacture has been taken over by Lorenz Hutschenreuther AG, Selb. Bauscher & Weiden  was represented at several exhibitions like: Nürnberg in 1882 (bronze medal), 1896 Nürnberg (silver medal), 1899 in Berlin (golden medal), Berlin in 1899 (golden medal),  Brussels in 1901 (golden medal) … Copenhagen  in 1908 (golden medal).

SHIPPING:

We ship worldwide through the Austrian Post Service (with comprehensive insurance coverage, referring to the International Delivery Contract, as mentioned in our item description) within 2 days of receipt of your payment. If you prefer to choose a different shipping method, please contact us via e-mail before bidding, which will enable us to calculate the exact costs for you! 

INSURANCE:

We require full insurance coverage on all sales; the insurance amount is included in packing/insurance/express air mail shipping details in our item description for delivery through the Austrian Post Service. If you prefer an alternate shipping method, please contact us so that we can calculate any additional costs to you. 

RETURN POLICY:

Costumers may be allowed to return ordered items within 5 days after receipt - only in the event that our item description is incorrect. Otherwise, please contact us to discuss individual circumstances and the possibility of making special arrangements. The costs of insurance and delivery are a service, and are therefore non-refundable. 

DAMAGED ITEMS:

We ship worldwide, and take great care to package our items very carefully for shipping long distances. Please inspect your ordered item immediately upon receipt (you can decline acceptance when the parcel shows obvious damage). We ship every item fully insured. In the case of damage during transport you will have to take the following steps: Please take photographs of the outer packaging materials, take detailed photographs of the damaged item, and please keep all packaging for any further inquiries. Please contact your local Post Office that delivered the parcel with the damaged item, and fill in a "damage report" form. The Post Office will then supply you with a confirmation.   

Please then send all these documents to us via Express Air Mail, e-mail, or fax, and we will then be able to contact our local Post Office to claim on the insurance. In the case of possibility of restoration, please send us an estimate of the restorations costs of a local restorer - (written the restorer´s business letterhead) - and / or statement of thediminution of item´s value that resulted from the damage it sustained during transit.
