Rathbone R2CRE OM Natural Gloss Electro Acoustic Guitar
Here for sale we have a Rathbone R2CRE Orchestra Model (OM) electro acoustic guitar in Natural Gloss finish. This guitar features a solid Cedar top, Rosewood back and sides, a 20 fret Mahogany neck, a Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, open gear machine heads, along with a Belcat Cadic preamp system with controls for volume, bass, middle, treble, bright, middle freq, notch, phase, and a built in tuner.
The gloss finish neck plays very well, with a medium ‘C’ shape that is comfortable in the hand, certainly a profile that will be familiar to the vast majority of players. The OM body style offers a happy middle ground between dreadnoughts and parlour guitars, feeling full and dynamically responsive without being overly large and cumbersome.
The tone of the R2CRE is big and bold, with a warm low end, a smooth yet powerful midrange, along with crisp and articulate highs. Overall a really well put together and versatile acoustic guitar, well suited for a vast array of playing style, giving it a real workhorse quality.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Excellent condition and minimal marking.
Neck: Excellent condition and minimal marking.
Body: The front and sides are in excellent condition. The rear shows some light scratch marking under bright lighting which is not significant. The jack input casing has three screws and the top most screw is not secured to the body due to the cut-out shaping, which means there is some flex possible with the jack inserted.

The guitar shows light aesthetic marking to the rear of the body but this is not significant. The frets offer very good playability and there is plenty of room in the saddle to adjust the action. The electrics are fully functional as is the hardware.
